Blu Mankuma is an actor and performer with over 30 yrs experience in film, TV, theatre and as a voice-over specialist in commercials and animated features.

He is described as one of Canada’s busiest actors. Film roles include: Look Who's Talking ; Cadence; That Old Feeling; Bird on a Wire; and Santa Clause 2, Tin Man and 2012 to name a few. 

He has worked alongside leading actors such as Laurence Fishburn, Martin and Charlie Sheen, Tim Allen,John Travolta, Lou Gossett Jr., Bette Midler, Sidney Poitier, Debbie Reynolds and Johnny Depp.

On TV he has appeared in Twenty One Jump Street, Robocop the Series, Forever Knight, The X Files, Twilight Zone, Stargate SG 1, The Collector, The Outer Limits, Saved, Andromeda and many others, including recurring roles on several shows such as Street Justice with Carl Weathers and Da vinci's Inquest.

His distinctive voice has been heard on radio and in TV commercials for Bailey’s Irish Cream, Montana Lottery, Panago Pizza and The Muckleshoot Casino; He is the voice of cartoon figures Tigatron and Tigahawk in Beasties, Gigabyte on Reboot,Lord Mantle in Shadow Raiders and General Sargent in League Of Super Evil. On stage,Blu has appeared as Othello, Calaban in The Tempestwith Gordon Pinsent,Joe in Showboat, The Prince in Much Ado About Nothing and Himself in Ain't Misbehavin' for which he won Vancouver's Jessie Award.

As an actor I became accustomed to receiving a residual income. My only problem is that it comes in ever decreasing amounts. I always felt that if I could fix that, I would be set.
